Found these little guys just sitting beside the road in a junk pile! So many possibilities! I really like the short stumpy ones with the decorative legs and back! I think they have lots of character. Just love these trash to treasure finds!

Birthday Tutu

I am re-fashioning a jacket and tutu for my friend's daughter's 3rd birthday. Her colors are purple and white. I am thinking I will use purple satin ribbon instead of white and use a corset lace up over the front lace. The pocket tutus are just an idea. My friend like them too! I plan on getting some rhinestones, perhaps some pearls and more lace, hopefully find some old brooches at the thrift stores. I will be added a number 3 on the back with lace and maybe some sparkles. She wants it to BLING! This is another first project for me so any tips you want to share be my guest! 

I added the purple and white lace to give the front some flair. Not sure how this will play out in my final design.

The Pocket Tutus were just a goof that turned out kind of cute. My friend adored them! So I am thinking of keeping it in my design. I will change the bows and maybe add some pearls or rhinestones.

Once everything is all thought out, I will sew everything in place by hand and add the final touches! I can't wait to see what we come up with! Will post finished pics!

Micron Study

This is some of my art. I did this micron pen study using hatching and stippling techniques. his was my first attempt at this style of drawing. I really like this style. It reminds me of comic book illustrations. Just wanted to share! :)

Tinsel Tree

So a friend and I were driving down the street one day and spotted some boxes of christmas decorations on the side of the road. So we stopped and grabbed it up. We found a huge christmas tree and lots of tinsel, so I made this mini xmas tree from some of the tinsel and lights and some wire coat hangers! Also found some red and gold glittered wire ribbon for the topper. Cute table topper or tree for your office desk! I love these trash to treasure finds! Happy Holidays!
